Gigi was extremely helpful as we planned our wedding with 70 guests. She foresaw a lot of details that we would need to figure out in the planning process to make sure our day would go as smoothly as possible. We had food delivered from a restaurant, and Extra Hands provided people to set up dinner tables, decorations, and the set up for the buffet, as well as the teardown and cleanup. Extra Hands also provided a bartender who did an amazing job! We provided our own alcohol – beer, wine, and ingredients for three signature cocktails. The Extra Hands bartender Tina did extremely well with our vague instructions for the cocktails (we provided a lot of ingredients without specific ratios, and she nailed the ratio better than we would have). Everyone kept complimenting one of the cocktails she made. It was hands-off for us as the bride and groom. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough how great it was to have Extra Hands do the service and bartending for our wedding. Since I was doing a lot of things DIY, I was nervous about everything turning out well. Not only did you answer all my questions to put my mind at ease, but you offered a lot of other information that I wouldn't have thought of. Also, you were the only vendor I worked with who answered or returned my calls promptly! The day of the event, everything went so smoothly and was done exactly how we discussed. I am so pleased with the service you provided.

We cannot say enough about Extra Hands. They made our daughter’s wedding an event to remember. From my daughter’s first contact w/Gigi it was nothing but professionalism at its best. Gigi guided us as to how much staff we needed. Her recommendation was perfect. The day of the event the staff was at our home early, they were sharply dressed and were all smiles the entire evening. It was an outdoor wedding in our yard. With passed hors d’oevres, chowder and buffet style dinner. They worked hard. The entire evening there was not a dirty dish or glass to be seen on the tables or the high top tables in the dance floor area. The staff went above and beyond!!!!!!!! Gigi even stopped by to check on things. The waitstaff’s smiling faces and positive attitudes definitely helped the day be even happier. The bartender was pouring/serving drinks the entire evening and she was fabulous as well. When the staff left for the evening all the extra food was put away and our kitchen/dining area was spotless!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND hiring Extra Hands for your event.

"I cannot imagine how we could have survived the evening."
I want to thank Gigi Halsing and her wonderful staff for setting up, serving, and clearing up from an insanely overambitious wedding meal. I cannot imagine how we could have survived the evening, never mind making it a marvelous success without Extra Hands. We had 250 guests for an elegant wedding at a rustic summer camp. As the mother of the bride, I decided to provide all our own food and drink. Gigi and her staff set up all the tables and food beautifully. They kept the food and drink stocked and replenished. They also handled all the minor crises without my even knowing about it.
On top of all that, the price was very reasonable. Gigi was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would (and will) use her services again.

I cannot recommend Extra Hands For Your Events enough! The owner Gigi was remarkably responsive and warm. Any question we had about our big day was answered promptly, and quite frankly eased our wedding anxieties immeasurably! The staff were extremely friendly and hard-working, and did whatever they could to make sure the night ran smoothly. I can safely say, if you’re looking for help for your event, look no further.
